God's Peace In the Midst of Life Storms

Image
Have you ever walked through a tough season in life that challenged your peace? Trust, going through life without peace of mind is exhausting, you will crash eventually. I've walked through seasons in my life where my peace was shaken. I've dealt with relationships that challenged my peace and I had to decide to guard my peace at all cost. First, I had to go to my source of Peace which is from God. He refills my cup of peace, then I had to set healthy boundaries within relationships to maintain my peace. Today, I just wanted to provide a couple scriptures if you are struggling with having Peace right now. Meditate on these scriptures and speak them over your life daily. You will see a major difference. 1 -John 16:33, "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." 2 -Psalm 4:8, "In Peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in s...

Ethiopia is Bleeding: Stories of the Tigray People

Image
Hey Readers, For those of you who are reading this blog post today, December 24th, before I go into today's story, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas Eve!!! Hope you are all having a great time with family and friends! Today's blog post is to shed light on what is going on in Ethiopia. The Tigray people in Ethiopia report an increase in discrimination and abuse from authorities. Nearly 50,000 Tigrayans have fled Ethiopia, in what the United Nation calls as the worst exodus of refugees Ethiopia has seen in more than two decades. Many ethnic Tigrayans who live in the capital and other parts of Ethiopia say they have been treated like criminal suspects and subjected to various forms of discrimination, harassment and abuse by government officials. They report being detained without charges, put under house arrest, and barred from traveling outside the country. Tigrayans say they have had their businesses shut down, homes ransacked and money extorted by security officials. My ...

#EndSARs Testimonies from Nigeria

Image
Hey Readers, Welcome back to Life, Faith &Love, where I share YOUR stories. For the past couple of weeks I've been focused on testimonies from Africa. Africa is bleeding badly right now. Today's testimony comes from the well known country of Nigeria. The people of Nigeria have been suffering from police brutality. "End SARs is a decentralized social movement, and series of mass protests against police brutality in Nigeria. The slogan calls for the disbanding of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a notorious unit of the Nigerian Police with a long record of abuses." Today I will sharing two stories from BBC news. The testimony from this individual echoes the voices of several others that have also been impacted by SARs.  "Earlier this month, Isiaka Jimoh was on his way to his mum's house. Police allegedly dispersed tear gas and bullets to those protesting on the street. He never made it home to his mom's. Eyewitness say he was shot by police. Pol...

DR Congo Crisis: Patience's Story

Image
Hey Readers, Welcome back to Life, Faith &Love, where I share peoples stories. This week I am focusing on stories from the country of Congo. Congo is a very rich in resources in the land. Mining is a very common profession there because the soil is rich with cobalt (what we use in phones, laptops etc.,) and many other vital minerals. Hence many other western countries are focused on the resources in the soil and have been exploiting the resources for decades. I like to give a bit a history on the country I'm talking about before I share someone's story from the country. I really like BBC news break down on the Congo Crisis. Watch the video below before proceeding to today's story. BBC Congo Crisis History Now that you've watched the video, you now have a bit of history on the events that took place in Congo that led to where they are today. Now I will move onto sharing a brave young ladies story. Her name is Patience's. Her story is very disheartening, but thi...

From "New Age" to Christianity: Testimony Part 2 (Life, Faith &Love)

Image
Hey Readers, Welcome back to part 2 of this week testimony. This week testimony shed light on spiritual warfare. Something that is very real, but one should not walk in fear. We have authority through Christ Jesus to trample on snakes and scorpions and NOTHING by all means shall hurt us. Fear not. This will be the final part to this week testimony. Please don't forget to email me your testimonies to Ngongang94@gmail.com "I continued meditating and realized that I started attracting demons to myself. It got so bad to the point that I saw one with my naked eye in daylight in my kitchen in my house. My friend was over and I literally just screamed. I knew of a Jesus, but didn't have a personnel relationship with him. It got so bad that I asked my friend to pray for me, she wasn't very into the Christian faith either, but when she prayed, she said Jesus and I felt a shift in the spirit.  I started investigating more into this whole Christianity thing. Learning more about...

I say this because this week testimony sheds light on th...

"Healing After Heart Break" --Testimony (Life Faith &Love)

Image
Hey Readers! I hope you are all having a LOVELY week and you have been productive so far. I've been busy with work this week, per usual, but so far, so good! This week testimony comes from an individual that would prefer to stay anonymous. Her testimony is very encouraging, something I believe most people have dealt with at least once in their life. She shares her testimony on how she overcame heartbreak. Let's dive into this week testimony! "I've been a Christian my whole life, got baptized and always believed in Christ. After one church camp, I received the gift of tongues. When I was in 10th or 11th grade I met a guy from church. I was excited, because I was like he's a Christian, things will surely work out. It was awesome, we went to church and youth group together and I thought, this was a God given boyfriend. Ever since then, I was really focused on my boyfriend. I didn't even realize that he had became my life. My priority was him, I realized I was on...
