Hello Readers!!! Welcome to week 9 of the series on  Life, Faith &Love  titled  Life Lessons Learned in my 20's .  Every Saturday, I will be posting a new blog of a story sent to me by one of YOU. I have loved reading all of your stories so far and I am so excited to share some of these lessons with you guys. This week life lesson stems from one of my good friends who wants to remain anonymous. She shares her 20's Life Lessons. 1. Parents have a lot of wisdom and when we're in our early twenties, we may not heed to it. My parents tried to speak some wisdom into me and caution me on certain things I should or should not do. Things such as where I should go to school and getting married. In the moment I didn't heed to their caution. I still did my own thing. We live in a world where it's all about me and I'm going to do me. But I want to tell you that you need people. You need wise people around you that will caution you when you're going down ...

Hello Readers!!! Welcome to week 6 of my new series on  Life, Faith &Love  titled  Life Lessons Learned in my 20's .  Every Saturday, I will be posting a new blog of a story sent to me by one of YOU. I have loved reading all of your stories so far and I am so excited to share some of these lessons with you guys. This week life lesson stems from a lovely young lady name Korma! She provides a lot of knowledge for you guys! I title Korma's lesson "20's is for Exploration".   Korma: "Your 20's is for exploration. You should do everything you want to do, because in your 30's society puts "expectations" for you to start to settle down, have a family and think about your future. Enjoy your 20's because once you hit your 30's your like man, I've already lived a third of my life. Not necessarily the best way to look at it, but yeah. If you want to travel, then travel, if you want to move because of love or your s...

Hello Readers!!! Welcome to week 4 of my new series on  Life, Faith &Love  titled  Life Lessons Learned in my 20's .  Every Saturday, I will be posting a new blog of a story sent to me by one of YOU. I have loved reading all of your stories so far and I am so excited to share some of these lessons with you guys. This week life lesson stems from ME! You guys my 20's has taught me A LOT of lessons. Some more than I wanted, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I title my life lesson, "What is Yours is Yours, What is NOT is NOT, It Can't be Forced." Titiana: "Growing up I had a bad habit of forcing and pushing until I got what I wanted. When it came to my parents allowing me to go out with my friends, at times I would persistently ask until they would say yes. This trait is both good and bad. My persistence and inability to give up on things, is part of what pushed me through pharmacy school and accomplishing my other goals in life. My persistence ...

Hello Readers!!! Welcome to week 2 of my new series on  Life, Faith &Love  titled  Life Lessons Learned in my 20's .  Every Saturday, I will be posting a new blog of a story sent to me by one of YOU. I have loved reading all of your stories so far and I am so excited to share some of these lessons with you guys. This week life lesson stems from my younger sister Marvellous. She titles her life lesson "One Step At A Time" Marvellous: "There's a popular saying that goes, 'if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.' And I couldn't believe that anymore. Although I'm at the early stages of my 20's, I've already learned a whole lot as a young woman trying to make it in this world. My biggest lesson so far is that, not everything is going to go as planned. It's easy to get caught up with how you envision yourself to be and every detail to get there, but the blow will hurt so much more if you don't prepare yourself fo...

Hello Readers!!! Welcome to my new series on Life, Faith &Love titled Life Lessons Learned in my 20's .  Every Saturday, I will be posting a new blog of a story sent to me by one of YOU. I have loved reading all of your stories so far and I am so excited to share some of these lessons with you guys. This week life lesson stems from a friend of mine name Ebi! One main lesson she has learned so far in her 20's is something she calls "Imposed Anger." Read below for Ebi's story: "2 things I've learnt so far, appreciate the big picture and beware of imposed anger:  I got into a accident recently, and had my car totaled. That, in itself is an inconvenience, but looking at the big picture, I wasn't hurt in the accident, I'm blessed with friends and family willing to give me their car and/or rides. I've actually enjoyed the time I spent riding with friends, and... my insurance is taking care of everything, so I don't have to spend a...
