Survived 9 car pile up vehicle crash: Testimony (#FaithFilledFriday)

Hey Readers!

How are you all doing? I hope you had a great week? I definitely still have plan to share my testimony on how I overcame fear. I will share that next week. I got the privilege of communicating with this great young man. His testimony/story is powerful and I am honored to share it with you all. His name is Kwon and in the past year, JayKwon has been through so much, but God has given him the grace to overcome and conquer life obstacles.

This is JayKwon's Story:

On Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 at 1:30 P.M, JayKwon Hosey, 25, was involved in a nine-vehicle car accident on I-75 South, including two semi-trucks. As a result, there were two individuals that passed away, one being Jaykwon's girlfriend, Jhanae. This accident left Jaykwon severely injured. He has suffered a broken pelvis, lost his ability to walk and damage to his urethra, back, and to his foot. Jaykwon has undergone multiple surgeries. “The physical damage has shifted my life and trajectory so much. Recovery has very much been rough. But God, I’ve been resting, sleeping and bound to a wheelchair. The doctor’s said my body is healing so fast that it’s abnormal and I have a 110% chance of walking again.”

“Sadly, my parents were convinced I was dead before arriving to the hospital and seeing me and being told I was critical.  Ironically now they are the ones nursing me back to health. This recovery process is extremely hard for me given the small changes to my body, but I’m pressing through it. I’ve never been in a car accident prior to this so it’s all very new to me.”

“Healing happens emotionally, mentally and spiritually and not just physically. I learned to trust the healing process and not rush it as well while allowing myself to embrace and feel all the pain I was going through. I began to draw closer to God and want to experience him more in order to understand what I was going through.”

“To anybody experiencing hardship, I encourage you to press through it. God has seemed to be so silent but in the moments I’ve needed him most his whisper has touched my ears. I’ve had mornings where I’ve woken up emotional and crying, asking God why take her instead of me. I have no problem questioning God because I am THAT honest with him. I’m learning to make peace with her death and accept my situation, but I’ll always have questions.”

“Jhanae, I don’t think I’ll ever find love like the one you gave me, but I’ll never forget how you made me feel. I love you for eternity my love & I always will be your lil stank stank. We promised to never leave each other, but promises can be fleeting."

In loving memory of  JayKwon's soulmate Jhanae. May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace.
